Twelve ‘little-known’ nutrition tips to kick off the blog

New Years is coming, and many are planning to get on the most exclusive diets, or at least change their eating habits. I always like to take it step by step, so I’ll see it as a great accomplishment if I can discourage you from junkfood through my following points:

Tip 1

Mexican fast-food places often serve chicken that would not be qualified for sale in grocery stores.

Tip 2

Temperature can affect your appetite; you are more likely to be hungry when you are cold.

Tip 3

Avoid supplements until your diet is solid. Supplements, as the name implies, are made to supplement an already perfect diet.

Tip 4

If you cut a carrot in half, the carrot will resemble an eye. This makes sense as carrots increase blood-flow to the pupils and are good for your vision.

Tip 5

Walnuts look like miniature brains. This makes sense as walnuts produce many neuron-transmitters for proper brain functioning.

Tip 6

Onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes.

Tip 7

Taking Vitamin C at night may raise your body temperature and you may have a hard time going to sleep.

Tip 8

Frozen vegetables are actually just as good as the fresh and shiny ones in the grocery store. The freezing of vegetables causes all vitamins to remain intact where having them thawed in the fridge will have vitamins run elsewhere.

Tip 9

Pizza’s that fall face-down on the floor…..often..still get delivered.

Tip 10

Food-wise, there is no such thing as a 3-second rule. If food falls on the floor, I recommend you to throw it away.

Tip 11

Dating-wise, there is such a thing as a 3-second rule. If a guy sees an attractive woman, he is required to approach her within 3 seconds to avoid over thinking of what he is going to say. Plus, he keeps his spontaneity, a trait often admired by females.

Tip 12

Eat Oatmeal. Eat Broccoli. Eat Chicken Breast. Eat Blueberries. Eat Kiwi’s. Eat Whole-grain Bread. Drink Fat-free Milk. And eat your Fat-free Cottage Cheese with almonds for a late night snack. Doing so, you are bound to go to sleep with a smile.
