I visited our Culver City bootcamp location yesterday, and as I drove home I listened to this book called “As a man thinketh” by James Allen. In it he talks about how to use your thoughts to get whatever it is you want in life.
Really good stuff, and stuff you can actually use with your fitness goals.
Here’s the thing -> Most people assume that what you think can be kept ‘secret’… like nobody will ever know what your deepest thoughts are… and you will never notice anything really change because of your thoughts…
But this is NOT true…
When you alter your thoughts – you’ll be astonished on how fast it affects you. The truth is that, what you think… will crystalize into a habit…and then that habit… will create a circumstance.

So for instance, if you have thoughts of fear, doubt, and indecision… you will soon form weak habits that show no courage… and you will find yourself in circumstances of failure and ‘neediness’.
On the other hand
When you think courageously and decisive… you will form habits that are brave… and you will create circumstances where you live in abundance and total success.
Even though you can not control your circumstances… you can control your thoughts.
So do me a favor, and tomorrow when that alarm clock goes, DECIDE that you will go to bootcamp no matter what. Then you’ll form a habit that will have you running a crazy fun obstacle course within the next hour. And you know you’re going to feel great afterwards
